surreal life

my life could be a tv show on fox. here's why:

1. on friday night, i had to stop by the hospital to check on one of my students, who had been hit over the head with a BASEBALL BAT (yes, on purpose) by another student
2. i found out about the student-clubbing as i was standing in line at walmart
3. on saturday, i spent a good, solid 70% of daylight hours at the school hanging out with 17 year olds
4. coffee (my 20 year old student who hits on me sporadically) and my on-again/off-again lover just had a conversation via instant messanger
5. during said conversation, MY boy calls me "wet stuff" IN FRONT of coffee, who sees despite my futile attempts to block the screen

ACK!!!!

in other news - still nothing on the computer. i'm looking for a place to stay for part of july (first two weeks) near the nola since i'm teaching summer school. any help would be appreciated!!!
