imagine a mexican restaurant in a small town in the mississippi delta (hypothetically, one that starts with an "i"). now, put six young female teachers at a table with a young african prince who has a strong curiosity about the numerous meanings of the word "freak." he's heard it around school, and he can't decide if it's a good thing or a bad thing. of course, those teachers took it upon themselves to enlighten him (some of them had been honored by men in the past with that nickname).
