my students have been watching a lesson before dying for the past few days, and yesterday we finally got to the end in one of the classes (well, almost to the end and then i let some kids stay and watch because coffee refused to leave and i couldn't only allow him to stay). the kids who stayed got really into LBD. at the end of the movie, when jefferson dies, i noticed that two of my students - coffee and LR - were teary. so sweet... and fun to see the kids get into a story like that. they're such cool people.

i wonder if our teachers watched us and thought we were cool...
