9 stops for food, gas, or potty break
8 times that i looked at the clear sky against the rocky landscape and thought "ooooh, preeettttyyy..."
7 times that i wished i was in the nola, hanging out with the boy, pretending to watch tv
6 times that i wished i was in ptown, playing with the family
5 times i worked through possible remediation for students who failed my class this quarter (and wished that the school had the academy's money so that i could buy my manipulatives with school funds instead of my own)
4 meals i ate on the road, just to stay awake
3 times i wished that the car had internet access so i could talk to friends
2 times i picked up a book to read while i drove, then put it down after realizing that reading while you drive is BAD
1 emotional basket case of a dog as a passenger
