you know you're PMSy when these things make you cry:
- visits from students who beam when they see you and tell you that they tried to stop by yesterday afternoon, after you'd gone home for the day, but that they really wanted to see you so they came to school early today to do it... and then they invite you to go to their church on sunday and tell you all about their summers... and they look so much older and so much more mature than last year because they're seniors now and that weight has started to settle in... but they still love you and missed you and watched for your car to come back to town
- joyful puppy greeting after you return from a half day of work
- receiving your new copy of english journal and realizing that you are, in fact, really, truly a teacher
- finding out that you're not, after all, teaching compensatory reading
- the "just stay alive. i will find you" scene in mission impossible 2, when the one in last of the mohicans is so much better
but mostly...
- picking up your mail at the post office to discover a check from your father, who sent money to make sure you had a "pad" in your bank account because he was worried about you even though you told him that with the new sweet tea recipe, you'd be just fine
