a toast...

to the boys of summer. may they live well past summer, even if only in our memories. may they smile when they think of us. may they have gained something from their time with us. and, finally, if it is in both parties' wishes, may they become boys of future vacations as well.

to the best of friends. may they be blessed with at least one of the boys of summer. may they not catch west nile, summer colds, or pregnancies during their vacations. may they have at least one visit from one of their own during downtime. may they know that they are loved.
