and i think that i get the "flaky girl" award... or maybe the "exhausted beyond humanly possible" award. either way. i think tonight may have been a gvegas night. maybe. this is what i did instead... worked until 5:30 (doesn't sound late, does it? except that it started at 7am), came home, ate chicken on a stick, read for an hour, moved to my bed, read for another 20 minutes, fell asleep (my last thought was "i'll wake up in time to watch SVU and call the kids"), woke up again at 1am. now, of course, i'm playing the role of the insomniac, watching hours upon hours of road rules (despite my impatience with reality-esque tv) because i am bored out of my mind and nobody's awake or online. nothing deep tonight, just general mindlessness.
the "insomniac's read of the night" is tied. read carol's blog about the way in which delta distractions should conduct themselves and the expectations that we have of them, and then find your way to lizzie's blog, where she lays it on the line for the rho hoes. if only shannon hadn't deleted her blog after that unfortunate incident the other day, i could have nominated her for this prestigious award as well. alas. the "random interesting link" award goes to the smoking gun, which has a fantastic story about an unfortunate encounter between a bachelor-party boy and a stripper. fantastic! thank god for easy entertainment.
