so, i heard this song last night that made me cry. it was the last song on edwin mccain (and company)'s playlist, and i think it was called "good enough." i've been scouring the internet for it, to no avail. it made me think of my students and everything that they go through and will go through in their lives. anyway, it's a beautiful song, and if anybody has any connections to a copy of it, i'd appreciate one. edwin & co. were just phenominal musically. i loved listening to them (as it was basically a first for me). yay, yay, house of blues chicago. hopefully, i'll be able to catch them again soon. i've decided that i can only marry a musician. i'm not even going to justify it. i can't live without music in my life, and CDs and pseudo-musicians just can't cut it. so, keep that in mind, all you matchmakers in my life. carey's new requirement: must be a musician... and balanced... and deeper than surface-level... and intelligent. no more pining after boys who aren't carey-compatible. the girls will be pleased.
